Elizabeth Dixon, LISW-CP, is a Project Coordinator with the Institute for Families in Society. After receiving her MSW from the University of South Carolina, Elizabeth worked in the nonprofit sector serving vulnerable children and families through clinical and administrative positions. She has experience providing trauma-informed child and family therapy and continues to enjoy working with families in the community.

Elizabeth began working at the University of South Carolina in 2021 after joining an autism research lab within the Department of Psychology. Elizabeth served as a Clinical Research Coordinator where she supported recruitment and outreach efforts, provided clinical assessments and feedback, and enhanced community engagement for NIH funded studies on infant development and autism. Elizabeth joined IFS in 2024 out of a passion to continue advancing research and intervention for vulnerable communities while enhancing child and family wellbeing.
