Between 2009 and 2015, starting as a Park Ranger/Manager and moving to the IT department at SC Parks, Recreation and Tourism (SCPRT), I have done everything from cleaning restrooms, to completing sea turtle inventories, to upgrading the point-of-sale system in SC State Parks. I officially transitioned to the IT department for SCPRT in 2015. While there, my work focused on Networking and Systems Management. In 2018, I became IT Manager for the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs.

Joining IFS in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic has allowed me to support the work of our talented researchers. Our IT department gets to work with data processing, graphic design, and support data driven policy. I love SC and I am glad to be in a position where I can provide a service that will reach South Carolinians all over the state.
