(BS, Physical & Environmental Geography / Geographic Information Science, The Pennsylvania State University) Mr. Rodgers is a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst at the Institute with the Division of Policy and Research on Medicaid and Medicare (PRMM). Prior to joining the Institute, he was employed with a New York engineering firm that contracts GIS services to local, state, and federal government agencies as well as the private business community.
Currently, Mr. Rodgers is enrolled in the Geography graduate program at the University of South Carolina, and is working to complete his Master of Science degree in Geography. His research interests include using geographic data to understand access to health care, the spatial distribution of adverse health outcomes, and the migration of geographic information to web-based applications.
