What can you do to stop tuberculosis?

- Know the facts: South Carolina has some of the highest rates of TB infection in the South.

- Share information that will help prevent the disease and get treament to those who need it.

- Let your elected officials know that TB is a concern for every citizen in South Carolina—that TB anywhere is TB everywhere. Read the "Call for Action to Eliminate Tuberculosis."

- Encourage those you may know who have the disease to take all of their medications as prescribed.

- Encourage those who may have been exposed to get tested.
